-Ambassadors Missing the Boat and Swimming in Prejudice Waters-

Are we missing the boat on being ambassadors for Christ, simply because we are allowing our flesh to still have control of our eyes? What do we see when we look at people? Do we see skin color? Do we see gender?  Do we see their pasts and not their future? Do we see their rep, rather than their need of salvation that only comes from the gospel of the grace of God?

Racism and prejudices are sickening.

I know that as a man who still has flesh to deal with, I have tendencies to allow the old man to flare up. I even have to bring myself into submission so that I do not become blatantly disgruntled with people, knowing that we wrestle not against flesh and blood. We battle daily to remember that we have been crucified with Christ and that our lives are not our own. We have been bought with a price and we need not live for ourselves....

But the point of me saying that is this:

Galatians 3:27-28
For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.  There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.

If you are saved, you need to WAKE UP... There are 3 things that now have no place in your life:

1.) We do not, with prejudice, view people differently because of his or her nationality.

2.) We do not, with prejudice, view people differently because of his or her public status

3.) We do not, with prejudice, view people differently because of his or her gender.

This is the beauty of being baptized into the body of Christ(NOT WATER; READ 1 CORINTHIANS 12:13). We are all equals when it comes to the cross. We have all been infected with sin, because we are all seed of Adam. We are all in need of the saving grace of Jesus Christ. We may, as men and women, have different roles, but we all have the opportunity to share in on the greatness and wonder of the love of God.

Christian,  get rid of that heart of distinction. In the dispensation of grace that God gave to Paul first to preach, there is no such thing. There is freedom from sin and religion in the cross of Christ! We have all been brought into the same body if we are saved. For those on plane earth who are not yet saved, that is our mission and commission. We are ambassadors on this planet. We represent our Savior and our God; what a privilege and responsibility.

Who have you overlooked just today, because of your prejudice heart and prideful mindset. We who know the love of Christ should be bursting forth to share the love of Him who gave himself for us, so that we could be made the righteousness of God in Christ. GRACE IS NOT A LICENSE TO SIN, BUT RATHER A LIBERTY NOT TO SIN. We have been made free from the bondage of sin and death.

We are missing out on our Christ given purpose as ministers of reconciliation when we intentionally avoid people because of their flaws. Those flaws you do not particularly like are the same flaws that Christ gave himself for. We have been made to be at peace with God. How wonderful is it that he not imputing out trespasses to us today. Being separate is a doctrinal and sanctification issue, yes, but being separate does not mean that we remove ourselves from our political, yet spiritual positions, as ambassadors.

We have been made new. We have been made righteous. We are now justified. Glory to God!!!

Realize who you are today in Christ Jesus and get back on the boat. Quit swimming in waters of sin. Your identity is no loner sinner, but saint. Quit pretending to be something you are not. Live FREE IN CHRIST!
