Grace Changes Everything

For this cause also thank we God without ceasing, because, when ye received the word of God which

ye heard of us, ye received it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God, which effectually worketh also in you that believe.

Introduction

·         God’s grace is beyond full comprehension; the majority of a lifetime of being saved is not even skimming the surface of God’s marvelous grace and mercy.

·         Although God’s grace, without a doubt, is wonderful, it is the downfall of many who understand right division to allow salvation to be the place that grace stops making changes.

·         We know that we are saved by grace (Ephesians 2:8-9) and we are kept by grace (Ephesians 1:13), but we need to understand that grace is involved in and impacts more than just salvation.

 

What Grace is Not

·         Grace is not a free license to sin- Romans 6:1-7, Ephesians 2:10, 1 Corinthians 6:19-20

·         Grace is not a reason not to change- Roman 12:1-2, Colossians 3:5, 1 Thessalonians 4:3, Ephesians 4:1

·         Grace is not a reason to settle- 2 Timothy 2:4, Philippians 3:13-14

·         Grace is not a reason to be lazy- 2 Thessalonians 3:10, 1 Thessalonians 4:11, 2 Corinthians 5:20, 2 Timothy 2:15

·         Grace is not a reason to be puffed up or greedy- Romans 15:1-3, Galatians 6:1,                1 Corinthians 8:1, Romans 12:16, Ephesians 4:32

·         Grace is not a reason to grow stagnate- 2 Timothy 2:2,24, Titus 2
